It was just another game day for Riley in Lincoln, Nebraska as UNL took on one of their biggest rivals, the University of Colorado, Boulder. Riley hosted a pregame with all her friends as Matt came into town from Omaha for the game. It was fate that they ended up at the same sticky, moist, ‘buckets only’ bar, thanks to their mutual friend Shelby. That day, Riley claims to have met over 20 new people, but as soon as Shelby introduced her to Matt - it was game over. The two had an instant connection and suddenly were frequenting the 45-minute drive from Lincoln to Omaha. Two months later, they were officially dating and in it for the long haul.
